NIKE e-EKIN

Wholesaler’s training platform and learning modules

We designed a cutting-edge virtual learning environment based on the principles of gamification and mobile & micro-learning to train Nike’s sales force throughout the Italian territory.

The Challenge

Designing a single training environment apt for a diverse, professional, and geographically-dispersed sales force, which most of the times lacked time to train and motivation to do so. Our client needed an engaging and challenging format, that would be comprehensive in terms of content as well as easily updatable given the seasonal launchings of new products.

The Solution

We designed a fully customizable collaborative virtual environment with a catalogue module offer based on product and technology knowledge and retail people empowerment with 55 training pills cross-linked between each other, divided in 4 thematic areas, such as Running, Football and Technology. To spark interest and increase engagement each training pill includes a game-based evaluation . In addition, the virtual environment offers 5 challenges: game-based assessments which allow the sales team from each store to compete against each other. These contests are fully manageable through the platform, which also consents user tracking and reporting.
